Delete your account
Permanently delete your FastBowlingLab account and everything in it — your clips, your analyses, your reports and your training log. Do it yourself in the app, or ask us to do it for you.
1. What this page is for
This page explains how to delete your FastBowlingLab account — the account you created in the FastBowlingLab mobile app or at our website — together with the data associated with it. You can reach us about any of this at support@fastbowlinglab.com.
There are two ways to do it, and they end in the same place. Deleting from inside the app is immediate. Asking us by email takes longer, but works even if you have already uninstalled the app.
2. Read this first
Deletion is permanent. There is no recovery window and no undo, so there are a few things worth doing before you start.
- Cancel a subscription you bought in the app first. If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, that subscription belongs to your store account, not to us — we cannot cancel or refund it, and deleting your FastBowlingLab account will not stop it renewing. Cancel it in your Apple subscription settings or in Google Play, then come back here. A subscription bought on the web is cancelled for you as part of deletion.
- Save anything you want to keep. Download the PDF of any report that matters to you. Once deletion runs, your clips, overlays and reports are gone and we cannot get them back for you.
- If you share a workspace with other people and you are its only owner, deletion is refused rather than leaving your team without an owner. Make someone else an owner, or remove the other members, and try again. Workspaces you merely belong to are unaffected — only your membership goes.
- Any prepaid credits or unused plan allowance are forfeited. They are attached to the account, and they go with it.
3. Delete it yourself, in the app
This is the fastest route and it takes effect straight away.
- In the FastBowlingLab mobile app — open Profile, then Settings, then Delete account.
- On the web — sign in and open your settings, then choose Delete account.
You will be asked to confirm it is really you — with your password if your account has one, or by typing a confirmation word if you sign in with Apple, Google or a phone number. That check exists so that somebody who picks up an unlocked phone cannot erase your history. Once you confirm, deletion runs immediately.
4. Or ask us to delete it
If you have already uninstalled the app, cannot sign in, or would simply rather we did it, email support@fastbowlinglab.com with the subject Delete my account.
- Write from the email address on the account, or tell us the phone number you signed in with, so we can find it.
- We will check that the request really comes from the account holder before we delete anything — an unverified request is the one way this page could be used against you.
- We will confirm by email once it is done, within 30 days of verifying the request.
You do not need to give a reason, and asking costs nothing. If you want your data deleted but your account kept — or a copy of it before it goes — say so in the same email and we will treat it as the privacy request it is.
5. What gets deleted
Everything below is erased, not merely hidden or deactivated:
- your account and profile — name, email address, phone number, and any linked Apple or Google sign-in;
- every video clip you uploaded, deleted from our object storage;
- everything derived from those clips — the body-landmark data, the biomechanical measurements, the annotated key frames and the overlay videos;
- every AI-written report and training plan, and the PDFs generated from them;
- your training log and any re-test comparisons;
- your notification preferences and any push-notification tokens for your devices;
- any workspace of which you were the sole member.
6. What we keep, and why
A small amount of data outlives the account because deleting it would break a legal obligation or our ability to keep the service safe. This matches what our Privacy Policy says.
- Billing and tax records of payments already made — we are required to keep these, and for how long is set by law rather than by us.
- Security and audit records of significant events, kept for a limited period and no longer tied to your identity.
- Aggregate, non-identifying usage counts, which say nothing about any individual and cannot be traced back to you.
None of this is used to rebuild your profile, to contact you, or for advertising. And to be explicit about the thing people most want to know: your footage is not in this list. Your video is deleted.
7. Still stuck?
If deletion fails, or you are not sure it worked, write to support@fastbowlinglab.com and we will sort it out by hand. We will never make you jump through hoops, sit through a retention offer, or call anyone to leave.
